Mild Synthetic Approach for DNA-binding Polyamides

We developed a solid phase peptide methodology based on the Mtt protecting group. Our strategy is orthogonal and compatible with sensitive molecules and could be ready automated. Besides, our building blocks to Eliquis are more accessible than the standard Fmoc and Boc SPPS ones. Congratulations to Bene! Well-done!

Our work on visible-light responsive peptide nucleic acids (PNAs) has been accepted in the Molecular Switches themed issue of the Beilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry!
