Mild Synthetic Approach for DNA-binding Polyamides
HOUSE PARTY!! Bene gets his PhD! It seems it was yesterday when Bene started to work on the chemical biology applications of photoresponsive DNA-binding agents…time flies, plenty of adventures! We wish you all the best in this new adventure! We will miss you, Bene! Do not hesitate to check Bene’s contributions at our Publication section. […]
Bene submits his PhD thesis!!
We developed a solid phase peptide methodology based on the Mtt protecting group. Our strategy is orthogonal and compatible with sensitive molecules and could be ready automated. Besides, our building blocks to Eliquis are more accessible than the standard Fmoc and Boc SPPS ones. Congratulations to Bene! Well-done!
Our First BJOC Is Online!!
There are milestone and milestones but that our 1st PhD student is handing his thesis in is a BIG ONE!! Excellent job, Bene! Congratulations!!
Our New Website has Launched!
Our work on visible-light responsive peptide nucleic acids (PNAs) has been accepted in the Molecular Switches themed issue of the Beilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry! Alternative versions based on ours may open new venues in chemical biology, nanotechnology, material science. Congratulations to Lei (and Greta, of course!) Well-done!
After several months of hard work and dedication, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our new website. We hope you like it as much as we do! For the record, Alexandre Vázquez is behind of all the code and technical issues. Thanks, once again 🙂
